"And we play Romeo and Juliet" is a performance in which the well-known Shakespeare story is told with great love and attention. In our approach, the enmity between the Capulet and Montague families starts from a quarrel between the two theatrical families - the dramatists and the puppeteers - and thus a plot is played out in front of the audience, in which the dramaturgical events unfold in a very attractive way through all theatrical means.
The story is aimed at school-aged children but is also suitable for anyone interested in the eternal themes of life. Although Shakespeare's play is a tragedy, there is a lot of humor in the performance because its author is known for his interplay of funny and sad.
The message to the audience is for more understanding, patience and wisdom, because the power of love can become destructive if we don’t master the ability to love.
